Thank you Alex Powell’s Family, Friends and Supporters

Back in October 2024 Ange Powell and her team held their 2nd Annual Fundraiser in memory of her son.  Her son Alex was someone that knew from an early age that he wanted to serve his country, specifically as a Marine.  When Alex was 17 he and his parents went to discuss his future as a Marine, well it didn't take much to see that this was his calling and they signed him up.  Tragically Alex was killed in a car accident before he could serve.  Ange has taken this immense loss and decided to help others in ways that would make Alex proud.  This year War Dogs connected Ange with K9’s for Veterans and she and her family raised $7500.  On December 1st we brought Ange down to the K9’s facility in Chicago so she could see what her efforts would do for a dog and a Veteran.  Ange was able to meet and name the dog she provided to a Veteran.  Ange and her crew will have the ability to meet the Veteran once they have had a chance to connect them and give them some time to train.  Stay tuned for more!!
